Privacy Policy

Vantage is a private multi-asset portfolio tracker operated by Tingis Capital (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we hold, why, and the choices you have. Questions: vantage@tingiscapital.com.

The short version: your financial data is yours. We don’t sell it, we don’t run ads, and nothing about your portfolio leaves Vantage without your instruction.

1. Information we collect

Account details — your email address and authentication credentials. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; we never see them.
Portfolio data — the holdings, valuations, transactions and notes you enter, import, or choose to connect.
Connection tokens — where you connect a read-only source (e.g. a brokerage Flex feed or an allow-listed mailbox), the access token is envelope-encrypted at rest. We never receive your banking or brokerage password.
Technical data — basic logs (e.g. access times, IP address) needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use your data

Solely to provide and secure the product: to show your consolidated position, compute analytics, and let you export or share what you choose. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

3. What we never do

We never sell, rent, or broker your personal or financial data. We do not run advertising and we have no “data partners.” Our only business model is the subscription — so our incentives point at you, not your data.

4. How we protect it

Each account is isolated at the database level (row-level security), so your data is invisible to other users.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest; connection tokens are additionally envelope-encrypted with per-record keys.
Connections are read-only — Vantage can view balances and holdings but can never move money or place trades.
Access is recorded in a full audit trail.

5. Third parties

We rely on a small number of processors strictly to operate the service — hosting and infrastructure, and, where you enable them, the read-only market/data providers and email delivery. They process data only on our instructions and never for their own purposes. We do not sell data to anyone.

6. Your rights

You can access, export, correct, or permanently delete your data at any time — from within the app or by emailing vantage@tingiscapital.com. We honour GDPR / UK GDPR rights by default. Deletion is permanent.

7. Cookies

We use only what’s necessary to keep you signed in and secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account (or ask us to), we remove your personal and portfolio data promptly, subject to any limited legal retention obligations.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves; we’ll revise the date above and, for material changes, let you know.
